Libby Bird the artist/ creator behind E B Creations is an emerging acrylic artist based near Salisbury, Wiltshire. Her work predominantly features bright landscapes and seascapes reaching up to bold and beautiful skies. She has a passion for the countryside and this translates through her work
The practice
Work with a sense of movement
Each piece begins with colour: layered, intuitive marks that gather energy as they settle into a composition.
Across painting, paper goods, jewellery and homewares, the work explores the quiet lift that a considered object can bring to everyday life.
The studio
Made slowly, with room for discovery
The studio is a place to test, edit and follow an idea beyond its first form. Materials, surface and scale are allowed to guide the work.
Original artworks sit alongside useful, expressive pieces made to be held, gifted and lived with.
